The page has turned to a New Year and we are just six short weeks away from our next event! This International “Calling” weekend with Gary Barkalow, founder of The Noble Heart, will be a milestone for us. It is the first time we have had the privilege of hosting an International Calling weekend with our Great Lakes Regional Band of Brothers.

We are pleased to be able to allow all of the leaders from the Great Lakes Regional Band of Brothers to be fully engage in this event without having the burden of over seeing the mission. We are anticipating this will be a significant event for all who attend, as the warfare against it has been intense.

I just recently read Gary’s January newsletter, which I have attached and would encourage you to take time to read. Two, of several quotes from the book of Haggai, helped me to put things into perspective:

2:6 – (God speaking) “I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.”

Wow! If we stop there this can be disquieting, but as Gary writes: “Everyone I have talked to in the last six months has felt a shaking, an unsteadiness, a precariousness – on every front. Fear has been the primary stirring which usually leads to pulling-in, hunkering-down, conserving, and risk-aversion. And yet God says through Haggai:

2:4 – “But now take courage and work; for I am with you”

In other words I believe God is saying don’t trust your circumstances! Trust in the God who made the heavens and the Earth!

We continue to receive registrations from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, New York and Ontario. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again and getting to know many new faces and stories.
