bootcamplogoMen of Life Boot Camp is a three-day quest into the recovery of the masculine heart, as modeled in “Wild at Heart” by John Eldredge — highly recommended reading for all men attending Boot Camp.

Detailed Information

Who Should Attend?

This weekend is available for all men who want to discover or recover their masculine hearts. To better appreciate the experience, we highly recommend reading John Eldredge’s book, “Wild at Heart”, before the weekend.

Due to the intimate and personal nature of the content, Boot Camp should not be viewed as a Father and Son event. We strongly encourage fathers and sons to attend, but they will need to participate in different Boot Camps, at least for each of their first experiences of this retreat. Due to the nature and depth of the content and experience, Men of Life Boot Camp is not designed for youth. You must have completed high school or be at least eighteen years of age to attend.

What if we can’t make the whole weekend?

Since each part builds on the last, it just doesn’t work well if you can’t be there from the start. Also, if you come late, it’s not fair to those who have been there the whole time and are working on the process of getting “unplugged”. On the other end, if you choose to leave early, this isn’t “jail”, but you’ll lose some of the impact of the weekend.

Is this going to be a weekend of lectures?

No. There are teaching sessions followed be times of personal reflection. Also, there will be free time to use as you wish — take a nap, journal, hike, relax, or participate in the optional adventure activities.

Are these events open to participants from other countries?

Yes. We are always excited to have participants from other countries. Remember, to enter Canada you will need a valid passport.
